‘The Fold’

In The Fold, I capture the chaos of a tidal wave consuming New York Harbor, symbolizing upheaval and transformation. The Statue of Liberty tilts on its side, reflecting shifting perspectives and the challenges we face as a society. Amidst the turbulence, six surfing wolves embody resilience, adaptability, and a primal connection to nature, their glowing eyes serving as beacons of hope. This 88”x64” acrylic painting explores themes of unity, strength, and the power of perspective in uncertain times. Through this piece, I invite viewers to reflect on adversity, togetherness, and the ever-evolving nature of our collective experience.
